Winter Wishes 2018 Is Just Around the Corner!

Every year, we ask community members to support our clients through the holiday season by donating unwrapped gifts. This year, we are focusing on food and other essential items, such as personal hygiene and cleaning supplies, gift cards, and school/art supplies. 

Donation drop-off days: Thursday, December 13 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday, December 14 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at our administrative building (7780 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97219).

Most-Needed Items

Food Items:
Canned fruit and vegetables, canned tuna, meat, bulk dry beans & rice, flour, cereal (hot/cold), cooking oil, powdered milk, condensed milk, 100% juice, soy milk.

Hygiene and Cleaning Items:
Personal: Deodorant, shampoo, razors, tampons & sanitary napkins, Depends, body lotion, toilet paper, toothpaste, tooth brushes, diapers (size 4-6), incontinence supplies.
Other: soap (bath, dish, laundry), bleach, vinegar, sponges, first aid kits, Band-Aids, thermometers, wet wipes.

Gift Certificates:
Denominations of $10 are best!
Fred Meyer, WinCo, Safeway, Lamb's Thriftway, Trader Joe's Discount School Supplies, Old Navy, Target.

Event Tickets:
Minimum in pairs, please!
Theatre/plays/movies, zoo/OMSI/museums, Blazers/hockey tickets.

Postage stamps, socks, underwear, Trimet tickets, hats, mittens, gloves, and jackets (ages 0-8).

2019 Progressive Dinners

Have you ever wanted to get an insider's look at Neighborhood House? Join us and other supporters for our next Progressive Dinner, which includes an informative behind-the-scenes tour and a delicious meal! Over the course of the evening, you will visit and learn about three Neighborhood House program sites, including our Children's Center at Stephens Creek Crossing. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our work and the people we serve. Plus, you'll meet our new Executive Director, Chris Chiacchierini, if you haven't already done so.

This event is FREE and includes dinner, but space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible.
