Emergency Food Boxes

A family or household may receive one emergency food box per month. The food box will contain food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (as available). The food box is intended to supply your family with enough food for 3-5 days. Located in our main offices: 7780 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97219

Eligibility Guidelines

You are eligible to receive food assistance from Neighborhood House if you are currently participating in the Food Stamp Program, TANF, SSI, LIEAP, or State General Assistance, or if your income is equal to or below:

Food boxes contain mostly non-perishable items. Often we have donated baked goods, produce and other perishable items available in the lobby, which may be accessed at any time during our regular business hours. Please bring your own shopping bags.

Our Emergency Food Box Program is the largest food pantry program on Portland’s west side, serving an average of 600 families each month. The program relies completely on community support. Donations of food or funds are always needed. Neighborhood House is an equal opportunity provider.
