So far, we have raised $440,000 from our incredibly generous donors. By January 31, we aim to raise $500,000. Half a million dollars is our most ambitious goal yet, and for a reason. We have an ambitious vision for the year to come and we need your help to make it happen.
Having served twice as many people last year as the year before, we are keenly aware of the challenges facing our vulnerable neighbors right now. We know that food insecurity has grown. We know that child care and early childhood education have become even harder to access for many families. We know that our seniors have been more isolated than ever, and that working families have had to make some nearly impossible decisions. But through it all, Neighborhood House was there to help. For over 12,000 Portlanders, we were a lifeline in the short and long term. This year, we intend to do even more to fight poverty and promote equitable futures.
